Mikel Bell is a composer of classical music based in Boise, Idaho. He is especially known for his brilliant piano writing, which is consistently inventive and fascinating. He also has a knack for writing for ensembles which may have limited or unusual instrumentation, such as his many works for the Marsing High School band. His vocal and choral works are also refreshing and original.
Mikel has been a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) since 2007.
